Choosing an Alias Credit Card that Works with Amazon!
Amazon requires a valid credit card number when you set up your new seller account.
It is important to understand which credit cards will work and which will not work when setting up your Alias seller account. When registering to sell on Amazon Marketplace, sellers must provide Amazon.com with a valid credit card. You must have a U.S. or internationally chargeable credit card with a valid billing address in one of the seller registration countries accepted by Amazon.
Amazon request credit card information primarily for identity and security reasons. By providing a credit card, Amazon will charge the card to settle your account in the event that the amount due exceeds your available balance.
The following credit cards are accepted during registration: Visa, MasterCard, American Express, Discover, Diners Club, or JCB. You may also use a debit card as long as it is connected with a major credit card company. Amazon are not able to accept any alternate forms of payment (Gift Certificate, checks, etc.) for outstanding fees.
The credit card you have identified in your Seller Account must be valid in order for you to be paid for your sales. If for any reason it is invalid at the time Amazon tries to disburse funds to you, the payment will be delayed until you update the credit card information in your Seller Account.
Pre-paid temporary debit cards with a Visa, MasterCard or American Express logo are generally the best to use as a stealth credit card.
